Lol you are right. I did play and explore but didn't go deep to the setting part. Who will play demo unit and explore every single setting.... I am doing what most people will do.

As you can see someone shared the details with me and I did acknowledge it. As of search function, you mean the search that popped out when I swiped down on honor demo unit? If you mean that 1 then I don't feel it helpful, I feel that's annoying. If you mean the general search in the setting of most android then yes. It can help to access the setting/function someone need faster.

Perhaps honor should set the swipe down to notification/shortcut as default. They cannot expect most of the people explore the setting deep to aware that it's changeable in setting. It really doesn't leave a good first impression when notification only can be accessible where ppl need to purposely move their finger to the top and swipe down.

The main different buying now or later will be price as well as the free gift given. As of magic pro series, buy it later will got ear buds instead of wireless charger now.

As my understanding zerolution is just a term adopted by maxis to say that you no need to pay upfront for the device. No upfront but have to pay for the device plus the plan price in monthly basis.

Icic. If you are interested to get a latest flagship for yourself, all three model of vivo x200 pro, magic 7 pro and oneplus 13 actually are quite identical with their own pros and cons, design and pricing.

Pricing wise lowest I have seem for x200 pro is 3.85k, magic 7 pro 4.25k, OnePlus 13 4.2k. If willing to pay a bit more then go for s25 ultra. The lowest I have seem is 5k if you own a cimb card. Much better in all aspect except battery, price and naked phone

The thread is dead. No people want to buy magic 7 pro when s25 ultra can be gotten around the same price at 4.8k during sales. Even OnePlus 13 (around 4k) and vivo x200 pro (around 3.7) are much cheaper than magic 7 pro during online sales promotion.

When other brand trying to sell their latest model with promotion, honor people busy doing promotion to clear old stock of magic 6 pro. Probably they accepted their fate and plan to clear stock of magic 7 pro with mega promotion during year end.

Oversea market even worst as that variant got smaller battery. I guess they will go a refresher soon to oversea market and change it with larger battery. Those old stock unsellable in Europe might float in and changed battery to sell here

Take a look at OnePlus 13. This round it's very solid. I think that's excel in every aspect for the x8 and x200 you listed above. It's just slightly expensive, cheapest I have seem is 3.9k (my set) in last 2.2 sales.

Somemore it's able to unlock bootloader and root if you are tech savy. It excel even if it's compared with magic 7 pro. Better screen, haptic, camera, battery and cheaper. Only downside is weaker speaker and no tof.

Of course. I got screenshot for this 1. The final price is 3.6k close to 3.7k.

Lol. No need to feel back. Magic 7 pro gonna suffer the same fate soon and might drop more sharply as it's not competitive at the current pricing. The only advantages over OnePlus and vivo x200 pro are speaker and tof but that's not justified for much higher selling price

Lol like it or not that's the trend. Online discount mainly was given by platform. Somemore online incurred lower cost in term of manpower, rent etc etc.

If you want to buy cheap and offline then I think you will have limited choices.

They have to bring down the price otherwise people won't even consider. OnePlus 13 very solid this round, lowest I have seem is 3.7k last 2.2 sales. Better haptic, display, camera, battery, os performance as a whole.

Current pricing still not attractive enough to make people choose magic 7. I think they have to lower it further to 3.3 and below or else hard to sell

Since like no people are responding 😅. I doesn't own the device and I think majority of the people comment in this thread doesn't actually own it as well.

I am researching it as I am one of the user that might consider to get 1 if price drop below 3k during massive discount at mid/end of the year. According to my research to honor forum and other online sources, everything was ok except the camera.

Major complaint regarding the camera is that the result was inconsistent whereby their so called ai enhancement actually make the thing worst. Good hardware but fail at software level for image post processing. image become water painting due to overprocessing/colour/skin tone inaccurate was common complaint according to user online.

If you not really care about camera then it's a solid option if price fall below 3k. It's going that way sooner or later as majority of people not willing to spend that much for flagship from honor.... Now they still trying hard to clear their magic 6 pro.

Now they still busy clearing the old honor magic 6 pro. The flagship model of honor was performing pathetically poor in term of sales volume. I think their mid range doing much more better

Should be not so soon. They still have tons of magic 6 pro to clear as of now. In Q3 or latest Q4 should be sharply drop when they finally realized no ppl buy their flagship model at current price.

Slowly but surely. In fact it already drop a month post launch. It launch price is 4599 at 512gb but it can be easily get around 3.7k during online platform sales.

It's just a matter of how much lower it can go. Looking at china economy now with US trade war and tariff, their local economy sure will affected and it will be harder for them to sell flagship model locally.

Sooner or later they have to find a way to clear those stock in international market. Then massive drop will happen.

It's plenty example where the unturn off able ai to ruin human face in photo. Photo of scenery, flower and animal seem to be fine but human face really cannot.

Probably that's why those own magic 7 pro mostly only post photo of scenery & flower. Some did post photo with human face and when you tried to zoom in to the face then you will notice something wrong.

I don't own the phone and to be honest I am also tempted to get 1 due to the low price. Everything seem fine for os, hardware etc etc but the things that call me off is the camera performance on human face.

The only reason where I am thinking to change phone is to take better photo of human. Those with same mindset better hold your horse, don't get tempted and better think twice before pull your trigger
