that's why i said, we need investigation and fact finding, not everything blame on the cook. Just like this construction case as well, don't assume everything that goes wrong is automatic the fault of the contractor, find out the facts first

2. Ready mixed concrete not mixed by them
3. Consultant didnt check materials delivered to site. Especially ready mixed concrere (no slump or cube test done)
4. The building structural design not by them

Construction industry is where you can point fingers at many other people.

As the public & not the specialist in this field , it will be better not to speculate to fuel the public anger.

According to ACT 133, Section 70B, there is provision of engagement of neutral party by the DBKL. Let them do their work & complete their forensic investigation. The neutral party will act to safeguard the public interest & come out with their recommendation.

The possible risk of the building being abandoned which will lead the project to become an eye-sore landmark within city urban planning - the affected community not public ?

Unable to tell. Looking at the guideline given by BEM on the Checker Role, I doubt it will be ready in 1 or 2 weeks. I'm looking forward to see the report as well.
