good day all, planning to get this phone from celcom plan. please give review for this phone after long term use. still worth it?

worth it or not, very much depends on individual.

processor isn't the greatest and latest, but it's decent enough. i can play Mobile Legends on it. GI and Honkai... on lower settings is OK.

where the phone shines is the durability and battery life. can withstand drops and smashes. but this does not mean it cannot break. but iinm, HONOR giving like 1 year screen replacement and also back replacement.

battery wise, average use and gaming... can likely last more than a day... but we all charge at the end of the day anyway.

only thing I noticed... you cannot use 3.5mm to USB-C dongle. i have a 3.5mm earphone (old Mi Piston which I love). tried connecting it to the dongle and then to Type-C and got error saying nor supported. seems you need those earphone/ headset that is fully digital (or sth like that, dunno how to explain). but i think if using wireless or those earphones with USB-C, then should not be an issue.

Telco Fon cannot access developer options, I have a Redmi 13C from Telco, even after contract finish, the option remains unavailable

My Honor M6P also telco contract .. After update to latest OS can use developer option. App from celcom also can uninstall

this phone will give to my wife .. mainly use for socmed, shopee , camera. how about camera quality? her last phone mate 20x she use almost 7year. mate 20x to x9c huge upgrade or not?

7years old. almost any phone will be a good replacement.

mate is considered high end phone though. more towards the Magic series.

mate camera the best can compete with flagship nowadays .. last huawei phone with android .. but some apps cant support anymore..

magic series out of budget .. maybe just go with x9c & mate as backup camera

i will tell you upfront... the camera is not X9C selling point. it's decent, but not overly impressive. but at least got the AI eraser.

if want good camera, can try HONOR 200. that one has better camera quality.

battery is good. i dun get battery anxiety with this phone.

as for SP, none at the moment -- i removed the one that came with the phone (good quality) for testing. anyway, you can get a free replacement from HONOR Service Center on Service Day which is once a month. but need time for them to stock up. when i tried in Jan 2025, they said still no supply for X9c.

Oh, meaning the phone itself already come with a SP? And if this gets damaged, we can change for free at their SC anytime? But only limited to 1 piece?

yeah, most phones come with SP these days. not just HONOR phones.

and yeah, specially for HONOR, you can get a free replacement during Service Day. and yes, you can claim one every month since they have a service day every month. but they Service Center staff will apply it for you.
