aeiou228 - this battery same as greenarrow2k6's?
BTW I saw a thread that you mention On-The-Go technology for portable HDD. Is that how to transfer photos directly from camera to HDD without PC?
*
I don't think so. Mine was sold and delivered directly by Amazon.com

I don't actually own a OTG portable HDD, But they are many sellers here selling the Multimedia player HDD enclosure with OTG function. You should be able to perform on-the-go file transfer from Sd card to OTG devices without PC. But I hate carrying a HDD when travel because it is prone to vibration damage. Therefore my cheaper solution to this is, I bring along a 8 gb thumb drive as contingency storage and when needed just get the hotel staff to help transfer the file or go to internet cybercafe.

Thanks for the explanation. Do you have any link to the sellers here for the MM player HDD with OTG function?
I thought about using thumb drive too, but my SD is already 8 GB and was thinking beyond 8GB, err..something like 320GB. laugh.gif

Hey, what's your timeline for the battery directly by Amazon.com? Before Christmas = Before 12th Dec?

Amazon send to US address and my relative bring it back this coming December. Exact date can't promised but definitely before 20th.

To me, 320GB for occasional OTG data transfer requirement is too much of overkill. But it boils down to individual need and preference respectively. I got an external 2.5" HDD spoilt by just dropping from a height of 1 inch.

Hand itchy, so bought a 8GB SanDisk SDHC Class 6 at LowYat for RM150 and snap this.
Penang Swimming Club.
Is it SanDisk Extreme ?

I saw a gadget in PC fair yesterday may of interest to you. It was a 7" LCD screen cum media player with built in memory that can perform the OTG file transfer via USB and SD card.

Just bougt TZ7 to replace my old Lumix
Price RM1430 = (Camera + One extra Lumix Batt + Lumix Casing + 4GB SDHC + 6GB SDHC + Cheapo Mini Tripod and free gift from Panasonic (Tshirt, portable fan, Umbrella).
*
If the extra batt is an original batt, that was a very good deal. What is the duration of warranty ?

AskarPerang,

I have tested the 1000mAH replacement battery for TZ 7 we bought from Amazon.com and find it more lasting then the original Panasonic 895mAH battery. Can you test yours to confirm my finding ?

Guys, I need your opinion should i go for TZ7 or FZ35? Just an average user.
*
As average user, I would pick TZ7 for its compact form factor. FZ35 is too bulky to carry around.

I misplaced the battery charger for my Lumix FS62 while on holiday.  Anyone got a used one to sell?  Need it urgently.  Thanks.
*
It will take ages for a original used one that suite your model to surface. Trying calling Panasonic support hotline or you can buy the universal charger at any camera shop.

If you don't have a spare battery, don't playback your shots too often especially video playback.

Hi all, planning to get a camera soon. was thinking of TZ7 and TZ10, what is the difference between both of them? i cant see the specs for TZ7 on the panasonic website anymore. but a lot of people in LYN recommend TZ7. so TZ7 is better than TZ10?

PS : 1 more information i need is roughly how much does both camera cost?
*
I think the most significant diff is the GPS geotag, manual setting of shutter speed and aperture, 2mp extra....
If price diff is negligible, off course go for TZ10 but if few hundred ringgit diff then better stick to TZ7.
