Who here own the Panasonic DMC-FS6 model?
Would like to know the quality from that new model before I made my purchase order =).

just got to test sample my fren's Lumix DMC-FS3, the camera is very good in low-light shooting.. gives Fujifilm F31fd a good fight

if the shop is giving you Panasonic 4GB SDHC card, RM850 is a good buy.

otherwise, it is your decision to survey more shops or just grab it.

Does anyone know when the cams will arrive on our shores?

Hmmm....almost got conned yesterday.....
A fatty salesman kept telling us his FX520 is the last unit.....
Would've regretted it like hell if I bought it since the price n package is the same....RM1.3k, 4GB & case.

But then earliest can get stock for the FX580 is next week??

Went to LYP to scout for LS-85 but haven't reach our shores yet...going for the FS6 instead after scouting. When i found a lowly priced FS6 in a store there, the salesman intro me another brand of digicam. Comparing the FS6 to the X brand, both same price and same function BUT FS6 lose TERRIBLY TO THE GROUND. That salesman made a few weak point of FS6. FS6 is MADE IN CHINA. It's XIAMEN to be exact. Unlike the other higher end models FS-15/FS-20/-FS-5 are all MADE IN JAPAN X brand is directly imported from KOREA. While testing the camera quality while shaking, the FS6 so-called image-stabilise is totally useless. Pictures are all very blur while shaking to take photos at the same time. FS6 is using single-layer screen protection ONLY. Which means when you press on the screen, it's like pressing your lcd monitor. FS6 quality low using semi-plastic and not metal. LOL....And one more thing is FS6 needs to take out the battery to charge it while X brand can charge it straight thru the phone LOL..At the end....i cabut without buying the FS6 Dono if the salesman got boast or not but what he says is fact also lol..How come Panasonic come out with this cheap model

juz fyi , logically , will u shake terribly while taking photo ? u can ask those DSLR photographer how to avoid shaking while taking photo , its either u lay on the wall or u put a tripod ...

last time when i was going to buy SE K810i , the stupid salesman show me how great Sony CYBERSHOT (which is bullshit) when taking photo in shaking condition ....ask urself logically , will ur hand shake like hell when taking photo ? its either ur sick or ur hand got problems... image stabilizer will be activate when ur hand is shake frm left to right or vice versa ... if u shake frm uo to down , the IS wont activate ..they know its impossible to shake like tis ....

korean camera , such as samsung is useless.... not to be fanboyism , but go survey who is the camera manufacturer , canon , panasonic , fujifim , olympus and so on .. samsung know ntg on camera ..

wow so bad ?? then i shud avoid FS6 then.. My budget is below RM800 any other model to recommend me ? what about w120 ? pls dont ask me to post at the main topic..so hard to get a reply..unless asking for DSLR cam

I think difference between the FX48 and FX580 is the touch screen feature...rest I dunno...planning to get either FX48, Sony W300 or Canon 980si...no money to buy the LX3 cause in JB its Rm1899!

hi, was wondering if the Lumix L1 with Leica 14-50mm f2.8-3.6 is still a good camera for around rm7k++ new?

I saw the megapixel (7.5Mp...) i knew it is an old model but I checked online the price for body+Lens is still quite shocking (rm9k), the body with Leica f2.8-5.6 is only rm4k+. Guess the f2.8-3.6 Leica lens is worth much more than the Body but is the old body up to handle this Leica lens?

I mean could have gotten a Canon 5D mkii full frame body with the money...

Well it's already been bought that's why I asked. I mean L1+ Leica 14-50mm f/1.8-3.2 & Canon 5D Mk-II body (need to top up abit) which one would you have chosen. Or Canon 50D + rm2k lens?

If I had that kind of cash....I would have bought the 50D + 2k lens.
Reason?
I don't shoot for commercial purposes.
So the 50D is enough.

I'm not really in to camera kind of thing, can anyone here recommend any budget camera to me.
