I think there was some discussion in the jersey thread about this too. As i said in the very same thread, its not gonna chance anything on the way Umbro runs their business. They're still gonna make some nice boots, nice jerseys and other accessories while Nike will still run their mega business. Mergers and acquisitions are not new in the corporate world. Every big company wants to make their company even bigger and the fastest way is M&A. If i remember correctly, Adidas has taken over Reebok too but both these company's still run at a seperate entity.
