My hardware shop will start e invoice on 1 July 2025, I need some advice for few things ( actually a lot but we start slowly ok?)

hopefully someone with construction & house hold hardware retail E invoice experience or knowledge would help me out
for those without relevant knowledge please be kind to me.

1.Is hardware retail shop compulsory to issue every sales using E invoice?
2.if not then are there any product that is compulsory to issue E invoice?

If i can get accurate answers from the above question then i will know either to use their free portal (the hard way)or
pay for my accounting software to be integrated with E invoice (the easy but maybe costly way).

Hardware shop construction material is under compulsory einvoice. So u need the buyer details it seems..

As for other industry lile f&b, they can do consolidated einvoice for the day

Yes need full E-invoice, cannot be consolidated.
As for the buyer, it depends. If buyer don't need, then state it as General Public. Don't think its practical to key in manually. U need a POS or some software.

Can confirm that hardwareshop cannot consolidate. Under donnon what act.

At first we also dont do consolidated but not all customers declare their income. In the end, we do consolidated for some cash customer since they dont have TIN. Only a small number of them la... like 10-15.

We are not those small hardware. Selling steel plates and bars but certain items are under construction code thus we are forced to do what we have to do.
