Just found an item on Aliexpress, much cheaper than Lazada/Shopee. I have a few questions:

1. I just signed up. Before signing up they indicate there is a reward, but I don't see any special vouchers/promo codes. Am I missing something?

2. I see the orders are priced in MYR. If I pay with a normal Malaysian credit card, will I need to pay some additional currency conversion fee etc?

3. Is the checkout price the FINAL price?

4. How consistent and reliable is the shipping? It says free shipping by AliExpress. Delivery estimate Oct 01 - 06, tracking available.

Let me know if there's any other tips or tricks to be aware of.

Use paypal for buyer protection and make sure it is door to door shipment. It should be fine. You should be able to track the shipment

My advise just straight buy from Taobao, cause AliExpress is just a Lite version of Taobao.

Biggest cons for AliExpress is shipping time
It takes about a month to ship to you

Do you know Alibaba bought over Lazada? Basically u see anything in Taobao u can buy in Lazada

Same as Shopee/Lazada. The price has been converted to MYR for you.

Please check the reviews from other buyers to evaluate. Many sellers are not honest and when it comes to warranty, you will get trouble.

Bought a few stuff from Aliexpress. Got a few lost item but those are puny stuff I can afford to lose.

I haven't lost any of the more expensive stuff. My mother love Aliexpress when it comes to ordering craft stuff. Delivery can be quick.
