Just close monitor your credit card transaction, ayam did purchased something then later on got credit card fraud after a month.

It happened twice with different card.

Better avoid those low rating low review seller, some could be shady.

Can we say that the 'estimated' shipping timing is fairly accurate? (exclude accidents of coz)
And if there stated "Tracking Available", is it means will have real tracking no? Coz saw some feedbacks say will be given fake numbers.
And lastly... I tried till checkout page, there stated Malaysia tax, so is it means, i pay togetther when checkout, later on i won't receive call asking me to top up tax payment?

Yeah shipping time is fairly accurate. Just that a couple of months ago there was a global delay in shipments because of some “crackdowns” in China’s airports/ports.

Most tracking numbers are real. Except if layered tracking number is used, i.e., local tracking, international tracking etc, those things sometimes automatically updated, but if not, you could always contact sellers or aliexpress directly.

In the checkout page, if you bought items that cost less than rm500, aliexpress will automatically calculate the LVG tax for you, and that will be included in the total cost you pay. Once customs receive your item, and if they have validated the LVG tax number is correct, then they’ll release the item without contacting you.

If you are buying more than rm500, the tax depends on the amount that will be given to you by the customs, and that amount you yourself will have to settle later. Usually customs will either sms or email you.

3. need addon tax at the product page because MY gomen wanna protect local sellers. at check out area, you will see the tax charges to pay. that means u see the final price at check out area.

Sharing my experience with Aliexpress...
Ordered a medium size item on 5th Oct night time 10pm, received on 11th Oct morning, so its by plane and overall delivery experience is good.
Earlier on at the product view page, its give promise delivery by 9th to 13th, so consider not bad la... hope in future they can deliver within promise timing.

Bloody customs will attach an imaginary Shipping Value to your item as they will not accept 0 shipping value, and it will easily exceed RM500.

I bought a car window visor worth RM377, but free shipping.

Received SMS I needed to pay RM252 as tax including Fedex custom clearance fees of RM50. My item free shipping magically kena tag RM150 as shipping costs and since more than RM500, I had to pay the tax or get the item sent back.

My order in mid January is stuck as customs since 29th Jan 2025, with no update since then. Promised delivery date was by 9th Feb 2025.

Try and use Aliexpress Std Shipping.
If you use Fedex, DHL, UPS or other couriers, high chance will kena.

If you already paid the tax on aliexpress, wont kena lagi la. This is based on my experience la.

I never would do buy Aliexpress.

for many many many reason if compare Taobao.

1. Aliexpress is NEVER meant for local chinese people.
2. meaning the seller are all sell to oversea buyer.
3. meaning they mostly expect... you hardly can do complaint.

Compare Taobao, TOTALLY different story.

1. if something sell on aliexpress = RM10, taobao can found at RM7
2. taobao are meant for Local Chinese, they are under serious control by taobao for fake, wrong, problematic item.

3. there is many wall you need to get through to buy from Taobao, and get tier 1 good shipping.


currently, the best = Taobao + Cainiao.
