Actuali knoe or x makes x difference… like norman ..he dunno..just happened… isnt tat better than knoe then live knowing (“scare ourselves to death”)… just saying… ( due for a checkup… but dun feel like going…)

I disagree.

While checkups are not a guaranteed for longer life or able to screen 100%, it does allow to detect certain conditions earlier and thus better chances to take preventive or treatment.

You could argue that how long we live is determined by powers above, bit with advance of medical and early detection, it provides higher living quality and better chances of survival.

Anyways checkups are paid for/tax deductable so no reason to skip.

Was reading about the same news in another website, scroll down to find that this actor also passed in September. Starred a lot in 70s and as villains in Jackie Chan/Sammo Hung movies. Later became prominent in TV drama roles.
