pink eye or red eyes will hv smaller eyes. But i not sure where dizzy get his gerbils, any delay of treatment can cos problem. so it is better to tell him get supplement for the gerbils.

wheel? what wheel u using? remember gerbil got back bone don't injurt them.

make sure the gerbil is healthy b4 u buy. get the most curious one.

is ur wheel 8in? less than 8 in will injurt their back..

cos gerbils are not hamster, they r not born to run wheel, even their feet is not for wheel. unless u get a sold or mesh wheel. and minimun is 8in. gerbil hv back bone. not like hamster. a small wheel will injurt their back. also make sure nothing will hook their tail.

try get a good home ok i hv no more space, if not i can take them back from u.

gerbil back bone is 'hard bone' while hamster is 'sofe' bone. this is also why u can see hamster n squeese through a very tiny hole while gerbil canot.

for almost all animal. humping to show dominate. the one who hump others are showing alpha. the other reason is they are young.. but changing to be adult.. but they still confuse male n female.. hv to keep an eye, cos sometime the one kena hump can get frust n start a fight.

maxi put in a 3ft tank. 4ft tank is too big for gerbils. too big or too small also not good, when the tank is too big. if they don't meet each others more than a day. they may forget each others. once meet they willl fight.

best to put in a 2ft tank

it doesn't stated chipsi contain pine, just someone say it smell like pine. i not sure how good is their nose lol.. chipsi classic n those with apple or lemon. only difference is the perfume

pine also got difference. some pine save to use but some not. but all the bedding do not stated what pine is it. so better skip the pine bedding. Chipsi is save to use. no worries

no its difference one is ruby (red ) eyed, one is pink eyed
