maybe, but unlikely, stock should stabilise by now and most people will still stick to their old ps5 since still not many games are taking advantage of the new hardware yet, sony is eyeing for the end of year / chrismas holiday punya present.

not sure how to feel about this, a lot great game start to fade away or need wait 10-20 years to see remake / new series

There are many rumors saying Sony is now desperate for money as Concord bombed hard. It costed them about 200M USD which is very huge sum of money for Sony.

Sony even raise the price of Dualsense controller to $80 recently. They know gamers don't have a lot of option to choose from as Xbox practically dead as a brand and Nintendo is still cooking with Switch 2. Might as well milk consumers to the last drop.

USD700, when released here probably over RM3k… definitely not worth the minor improvement. Wait another 2 years for PS6 with triple the power

Sony Interactive Entertainment (their gaming division), has a $30B USD revenue and in 2023 made ~$2B USD in profit. 200M is a lot of money, but hardly going to make Sony desperate for cash.

I always stick with base model and never bought pro machine, but I always appreciate the existence of pro as it will make current gen game to have additional graphic setting which hopefully will also be useful on next PS6.

No disc drive and no stand on a 4K ringgit console

Minimal performance upgrade, no disc drive, insane price, guess I will stick with my original ps5..

i might bite if the upgrade is that good and sell my old ps5 console will wait review and see how.

at that point top up sikit and get a high performing PC

then you can be productive too instead of just gaming on that machine
