1. when workshop say top-up, it means top-up from your current insurance amount such as 11k+7k=18k kan? else your insurance sitting duck there?

2. the 1.5k is services fee you pay to the workshop to help you submit paperworks, follow-up, tow to insurance company, etc. My recommendation if you want to save up the 1.5k, go back to Proton and let them do.. over there you can discuss cheaper fee since you bought the car from them..

3. after total-lost, consider you 'selling' the car back to the insurance company.. all transfer needs to happen.. so if you want to retain the number plate, follow normal procedure to transfer the number plate before "selling" the car
