China everything so advanced.

Ts did u go red light district? I wan to see whether it is also very advanced there.
*
actually I have no idea where is the red light district, didn't search for it this time and didn't came across it laugh.gif
likely shady though, I think it's illegal.
u want "advanced", come Japan, with yen getting cheaper, u get more bang for your ringgit icon_idea.gif

Haters going to hate, but no doubt China has tremendously advanced in the past decades and really is at mid to high income status
*
yes, very big diff in such short time, ppl their also slowly catch up, you don't really see those stereotypes in the bigger city

QUOTE(hc7840 @ Aug 27 2024, 11:32 PM)
Ts need a China phone number to book didi? Any issue driver can’t find you and need to call? Or good enough buying data only esim?
*
nope, I use Amap for hailing taxi, it connects to a bunch of providers..and usually the taxi driver communicate via chat instead of call from my experience sweat.gif
I bought data only eSIM from HK, and use the eSIM number to register services that require phone number and supports HK mobile number (e.g. Amap)

i felt so far Taiwan make the best milk tea..nothing I had in China/HK can compete with the ones I had in Taiwan sweat.gif

in china, all use Alipay and credit card. I converted about 20k rmb to my alipay via Wise.
Alipay very convenient in China..there are some moments where they don't have alipay only have wechat pay, and my wechat pay isn't set up, so I just go other stores

for HK, i converted the remaining rmb in Alipay to cash for converting to HKD, you need cash for this.
