Yup, Geely one of the big manufacturer that I see great potential in Msia as well as globally.

They owned Proton (good sales in X70, x50), Lotus (their EV models sales number is quite surprising for such a expensive offerings), Smart (nice design but their number mostly will be niche) and upcoming Zeekr wont be flying off in sales also. Maybe the Zeekr 01 MPV can be a good option for those taukehs instead of the boring Vellfire/Alphards.

Their Proton eMas with 4/5 models to be launched, now that is a game changer when that happen

well, the death of many chinese EV startup ald happened and it might just be a few year before those Leapmotor, GAIC, Xpeng, Neta, Wuling bla bla merge and consolidate into 1 or 2 bigger makers. Demand ald slow down and manufacturer is trying offload their stock into untapped market.

not really, at it stands now, with the model Y being outdated. The G6 definitely has its edge over model Y.

yes, tesla does has its supercharger network, but the network till today is very small. so it wont really make a huge difference for the tesla and other car marque. but this is a totally different story oversea like the US, china and europe, which the supercharger network is so vast.

on FSD, i think they are both similar. xpeng is among the top tier in self-driving tech in china. with more sensors , camera and radar, it could be more futureproof. tesla does has its own FSD, where it can depends on its huge data system to do calculations. so i would consider them both similar.

charging time, is where the xpeng shines. and tesla is based on 400v architecture, while xpeng is 800v architecture.

efficiency, this is where tesla has been dominating compare to the rest of the pack.

so with the price advantages, the xpeng g6 would be a viable choice if you are looking for ev of this size

what tesla ecosystem really want to achieve is to built an integrated city.
roads are well maintained, suitable for anonymous driving.
parkings that has self charging after it's parked.
u can put your tesla to be autonomous uber to help u even money.
next time u might not own a vehicle, where u just subscribe to tesla rode services.

even if can managed, it will be years away.
it will start somewhere in US first, most probably new township/city.
if it was a success, it will trickle to 1st world countries first.
