not really, at it stands now, with the model Y being outdated. The G6 definitely has its edge over model Y.

yes, tesla does has its supercharger network, but the network till today is very small. so it wont really make a huge difference for the tesla and other car marque. but this is a totally different story oversea like the US, china and europe, which the supercharger network is so vast.

on FSD, i think they are both similar. xpeng is among the top tier in self-driving tech in china. with more sensors , camera and radar, it could be more futureproof. tesla does has its own FSD, where it can depends on its huge data system to do calculations. so i would consider them both similar.

charging time, is where the xpeng shines. and tesla is based on 400v architecture, while xpeng is 800v architecture.

efficiency, this is where tesla has been dominating compare to the rest of the pack.

so with the price advantages, the xpeng g6 would be a viable choice if you are looking for ev of this size
well, if the model Y is updated to juniper, then it will definitely changes things.

i doubt tesla will sit at its comfort zone. tesla is very aggressive and vertically integrated. Thats why tesla is still selling very well in china. Even when facing china ev at their home turf, tesla is still a market leader. China ev can only effect other car brands, but not tesla.
