according to the latest news, the police is now looking for the person who sat on the batu chair whom he can see the status.

However, police claimed that her sister gave statement that she didn't see her sister when she fell down.

A bit curious if you looked at the first image posted by TS at post#1, it seemed at the beginning the hole looked like has a solid bottom and it was only about 8m deep and you can clearly see the fire fighter standing at the bottom searching. But how come the body was not located there? Does not look like the bottom was covered by water also. So how did the woman vanish?

There is a manhole where this current collapse happened. I believe the sinkhole collapse damaged the manhole and caused it to collapse as well exposing the hole (originally the joint between the manhole and sewerline) to the sewerline. And the SAR believe she fell into the gaping hole where the manhole used to join to the sewerline since their K9 fail to detect her scent at the scene. Just my theory take it with a grain of salt.

That is the problem when open tender , ppl will coose the cheap for repair, and the contractor see bigger problem they have to do it cheap way, they are not going to pay extra for the job, if they can't do it they have to get penalty because void of contract cannot finish job.

The main problem is the one who ask for tender need to know what happened and what to give out tender, if the BQ just ask to repair the sink hole then all the job are fail before it start.

Zero visibility and very dangerous conditions. From what I understand, they are searching the sewage "chambers". Does anyone know how it looks like?
