Yeah, 70-200VR, better glass better quality, not to mention if you really need the range. Try using it for group photo!

If you like shooting thru windows or snapping pics of fishes in water, then CPL filter is a must to prevent reflection!

I'm looking for a CPL filter now, I like the color of saturated blue sky very much and easier to show off the clouds in the sky! Well, still saving for one, probably can get one after CNY with ang pows.

There's one more new lens from Nikkor that you all can consider maybe, the new AF-S 60mm f/2.8. Can be used as macro and as potrait also. Most importantly it can auto-focus with D40!

Seems like quite a lot of D40/40x user upgrading or jumping ship, maybe its time to merge with newer Nikon unmotorized DSLR body, D60!?
