Wish to ask Maybank ATM Card the PIN if forgotten really cannot be reset OTC? I was told I had to change NEW ATM Card for RM12 as they are unable to reset the PIN. Isn't this reset a normal procedure in the past or other banks?

A great way to extract RM12 from customers, imagine each time you forgot you need to go through this procedure and pay.

What would be the security issue if they reset the PIN OTC? Isn't most other banks still practicing it? As long you present IC and thumbprint, I dont see the NEED to change the card.

Sangka baik they ikut SoP if card hilang steps: replace all cards even if forget PIN case.

Capitalism main goal is to profit.

Wait few months, close a/c w/o charge.
Then shift to another bank w/o charge.
Save $12, easy.

Pergi ke mana-mana cawangan Maybank terdekat
Bawa kad pengenalan dan duit RM12
Ambil nombor giliran, apabila nombor giliran Anda telah dipanggil.
Beritahu pegawai kaunter bahawa Anda ingin tukar kad ATM sebab terlupa no PIN ATM.
Pegawai bank akan minta kad pengenalan dan melakukan pengesahan serta buat kad baru.
Anda diminta buat PIN baru untuk kad baharu Anda.
Selesai.

Sekiranya Anda suda banyak kali tekan no pin kad salah. Tapi yang last baru dapat tahu, Pastu dia kata dekat situ sila hubungai bank dalam masa 24jam.
Sila call pihak bank di no 1-300 88 6688 (Malaysia) atau +603-7844 3696 (Overseas) untuk reset PIN kad ATM Maybank Anda.

Sekiranya Anda mahu tukar PIN kad ATM boleh melalui mesin ATM.
Pergi ke ATM Maybank terdekat.
Masukkan Kad Maybank dan PIN Kad ATM Anda.
Klik Urus Niaga Lain.
Klik Tukar PIN.
Masukkan PIN ATM Anda.
Pilih Jenis Transaksi apa yang ingin ditukar.
Klik PIN Kad.
Masukkan PIN Baru yang Anda inginkan.
Masukkan sekali lagi PIN Baru.
Tukar no PIN Kad ATM Anda dah selesai.

Anda boleh tukar PIN kad melalui online, berikut langkah-langkahnya.
Klik Log Masuk akaun Maybank2u Anda.
Klik Accounts & Banking.
Pilih All Cards
Pilih Select PIN dan klik GO
Masukkan PIN baru Anda.
Klik Request for TAC dan masukkan kod TAC.
Selesai.

I went to change at klcc maybank and they waived the fees. Reception said will charge but after i did the new card, the staff waived it

So u have to log in again the app into your phone?
