I am planning to put wall light on 2 bedrooms which have only lighting point on the wall itself.

I decided not use to use old school tube light fixture.

Any suggestions of wall light design that can brighten the whole room?

Get a wall light with E27 fixture. Just visit to any big lighting store, plenty of design for you to choose.

Get something with changeable bulbs. The LED ones are smaller hence can be molded in many shapes, but once they are broken you basically need to buy a whole new set.
