hey guys.. got another problem.. i just bought a movie from itunes store and was downloading it.. then half way thru, i paused it and close it..

later i open again and this time it asks me to confirm my password for my account, only thing is, it's stuck there.. it doesn't let me enter my password, i've tried restarting my comp, but still same.. the dialog box is just empty.. can't even see the msg or type in anything..

as i'm writing this msg now, the damn stuck dialog box keeps poping up every 10 secs.. it's really frustrating..

anyone know how to solve this?

Balok..erm..i dun tink so..

if thru iPod, portable HDD mode. u might not able to play the song. just kept it there, n then copy it to ur com n update ur iTunes. or else, thumb drive, cd etc.

why u wan to convert em? if for ur iPod, then it should be automatically converted (well in my case) when i add folder to my playlist n it change all non iPod playable audio to ACC (it can be change though but by default, ACC)

figured that I should post Itunes questions here too.

My computer is able to read mandarin characters (simplfied and not simplified), However when i transfer my songs into itunes,
the chinese characters are not read-able. There are turned into some weird looing symbol.

Any suggestion or solutions?

Anyone of you know how to do batch renaming for album/artist/genre name for songs. I can't go on editing it all one by one for all 100 of songs

I use mp3tag on Windows for that. Really fast and friendly.

Not sure about equivalent software for the mac though...

u can just use iTunes, select the song u wanted (for multiple selection, click n drag/ or just use shift button) then right click>get info n change/insert album/artist/genre/years/etc watever n it will change it all for u.

both of my iTunes n iPod can view japanese + kanji (chinese character) well. i wonder why it doesnt works for u. n sinoffire, all iPod support chinese or other language, it just that ur iTunes have problem identified it hence ur iPod will display wat ur iTunes display. try check ur Regional and Language Option (if ur using pc, bout Mac, i dun have one so, sorry)

because the ipod can only sync with one mac/pc..thats why it will delete your library when u sync with other mac/pc..

to solve this use senuti for mac...can copy ur songs from your ipod to your mac...u can also find something similar for windows...

And i heard we can hack the enable disk of ipod to put in the games...

Never use sync, manage manually, this is my advice. Unless you have enough empty space in your PC same as the space for your ipod. Imagine you have to allocate 160G in your PC just because you have 160G ipod and they need to duplicate each other, that's VERY inconvenient design of iTunes

just make a new playlist and sync from the playlist into your ipod... it just that easy

I think this is because you typed the chinese characters using chinese star. Some chinese songs I had also have jumbled characters, only viewable when I have Njstar on. So I retype them using the build in windows chinese input method and it can be displayed in both my Ipod touch and itunes.
