What’s the purpose of the phone? To record points? I’m guessing it monitors the crosshair on the gun’s scope and monitor the timing of trigger to determine if the shot is a hit or not?

But practically - if this becomes popular, how do you tell a real gun (with phone strapped on to look similar) and a toy gun?
