Hi guys, I bought a one piece toilet bowl ORIN brand model TAZA two months ago and due to delay in toilet renovation, today just did unboxing. I’m shocked when I see it’s crack and dealer said due to it’s quite some time, they can’t do anything.

Anybody know is it dangerous to use?

Looks more to scratch rather than crack. But u can inspect it further.

I've seen much more serious crack at public toilets 😅😅

No one knows how this seemingly small scratch would ever develop into an actual crack / shatter point down the line

Is it a crack or a scratch?

If it's a crack, you should get it replaced asap because you don't want it to break with someone sitting on it. If the dealer won't replace it for free, looks like you gotta swallow up the lost and get another one.

Yea looks like a scartch... if it is then nothing to be worried about... but for sure it will get dirty easily since the protective layer is gone

Dealer said no warranty for this toilet bowl.

I had called to their HQ to complain about dealer, HQ said they can't control dealer side.

Yes, my fault. Because it's very heavy and I worry when I unpack it, I can't pack it pack and might get dirty.

Eventually, in the end it's worse.

How to make sure it's crack or just scratches?

I can feel it's some depth, like powdering came out.

Oh Damn! Costly lesson learned sad.gif Is there any way I could prevent the scartch/crack to further develop?

How to make verify whether it's cracy or scratch?

Yes true! Safety always come first.

Too bad that I didn't unwrap it on the spot during delivery so dealer said they not going to replace.

how to verify if its crack or scratch?
first you can google the definition of the words in your native language.

or if you know the difference between phone lcd crack or lcd scratch ?

or you can use a penknife and scratch the screen to see a scratch
or smash it on the floor to see it crack .

You can try to run your finger over it to feel how deep it is. If it's just a superficial scratch, then I reckon using ceramic filler would do the job as what another person has mentioned. You can check the inside part of it and the edges to see if it extends further

more of deep scratch la, no impact to unit or its function.

ceramic material usually gets hairline cracks which are longer and thinner.

considering the location and no discoloration , it's negligible and easily forgettable la

how many times you really look at that side for long time? at most just glanced over.
