Anybody can come up with grades. But if there's no 3rd party governing body over the grades, it's no use. I will for sure grade my own cars >9000!

What about grading for the mechanical parts like engine and transmission?

The grading isn't by the used car dealer but mostly from recon cars from Japan. When they auction those cars, each car has a grading which most used car dealers here will use to say they bought a 5A car, etc..etc..

Those r real grading...u know how Japs works...

technically yes it is an almost brand new car below 1000KM
yes they do exist....there are 2 examples
1. these are display cars
2. someone bought it brand new and store it at a store room/store yard for 1 year thn ship it out(customer requested a brand new car)
both of these cars will score the highest level on the chart

if recond grade 6 then technically it's a new or pre reg car just little bit of mileage on that car


got rich ppl they bought new car at japan and keep 1 year ..then enter malaysia as recond (eg: land cruiser)

only certain auction company can do the grading and they have set of criteria need to follow..as long as the report is real w.r.t chassis ID then should be safe

just malaysia got many recond or used car dealer they falsify or photoshop report to show their customer ..

some even salvage grade R from there ..fix ..import masuk then fake the report and sell as grade 4.5B

hint: usually those free convert bodykit mia ..need to pay extra attention ..unless they really cannot sell away then tukar bodykit
