QUOTE(aRRrgghh @ Nov 12 2007, 01:13 AM) What version appeared after u tap Version? (it's *3001#12345#* btw).. from strayato.hirzaki's post in V2 thread, this is how you know; Same like you. But when you go to setting>general>about , it show 1.0.2 . This make me confusing. BTW where can i get the shop which can install third party application. Beside that, when i open with itunes 7.5, it show my software version is 1.0.2. It also show to update to software version 1.1.1. Should i upgrade or not. Confusing lor....The following guide will match the firmware revision to the firmware version. 03.12.06_G - firmware version 1.0.0 03.14.08_G - firmware version 1.0.1 or 1.02 04.01.13_G - firmware version 1.1.1 <-- mine 04.02.04_G - firmware version 1.1.1 *credit goes to http://www.mydigitallife.info What's urs? QUOTE(imoloq @ Nov 20 2007, 05:56 PM) First, they might have downgraded a 1.1.1 to 1.0.2. That was probably done at a time when the unlock for 1.1.1 wasn't available yet. So after upgrading to 1.1.1 via iTunes , my phone need to unlock again or notSecond, make sure you've synced your iPhone with iTunes at least once. You can do the upgrade and after that, iTunes will prompt you whether to restore previous settings or start with a new setting. Choose "Restore previous settings". All your contacts will be still there. I've tried this method so I know it works. Third, for MP3, it doesn't matter because it's stored in the iTunes Library. You can sync it back to your phone after you've done upgrading. |

QUOTE(kiasunkiasi @ Nov 21 2007, 02:15 PM) Just sync your iPhone with your iTunes to copy all the contacts to your Outlook or Windows Address Book; sync again after you upgrade. Added on November 21, 2007, 2:19 pm Brother you are right, it's a 1.1.1 downgraded to 1.0.2 phone. Managed the 1.1.1 upgrade and will try 1.1.2 tonight. Thanks for the info. |

UPGRADE TO FIRMWARE 1.1.2 (THE SIMPLE AND PROVEN METHOD. LESS THAN 1 HOUR )
ATTN : Not for OTB 1.1.2. Only for upgraded to Firmware 1.1.1. 1. run oktoPrep on the iphone from installer. 2. Dock your iphone and update to 1.1.2 - its update, not restoring. 3. Donnload jailbreak 1.1.2 3. Run jailbreak using 1.1.2 jailbreak (make sure ur computer have java installed) 4. use installer add add a new source called http://rep.frenchiphone.com and download anysim 1.2u 5. Reboot the phone and turn on the AIRPLANE mode (this is important so that it won't crash summerboard when unlocking is running) 6. run anysim (be patient! give it at least 10min to complete this task, very important) 6. install iWorld and run, Skip this if you live in USA your done...viola....... Unlocked and jailbreak 1.1.2 |
