Lost my life saving in stock market many years ago. Took bank loan, loan from wife, and even thought of 14th floor.

On the outside, I looked perfectly fine as my income is pretty high. But deep down those 5-10 years were the most painful time. I also hid my financial situation from my family, and this causes lot of disappointment towards me in term of financial support to them.

Many of my life decisions were also simplified and my biggest regret is I couldn’t give more to my dad before he passed.

But God loves me. I had my second chance to recover 70-80% of my losses.

This episode make me realise the importance of my family and view money very differently. From have money to nothing and back to having money.

Still invested but a lot more diversified now.
I am now invested in etf fund, asnb, as well as blue chips stock in Malaysia as well as overseas market in foreign currencies.
I also have physical gold and silver for hedging purposes.
