I also feel dumb asking for photocopy ic when the candidate is not even selected or short listed Are they going to do background check for every interviewee? I guess to employer they don’t care. Or easier for them. No need to ask again after short listed. Or maybe they want to test how good you follow instructions even if it’s dumb.
