Is anyone of you using/owning any crossbody strap? Any recommended and durable type? Preferably it comes with a strap card. I need to get one for my upcoming Europe trip, Spain has too many pickpockets...

I saw a few brands like Mageasy, Moft, Galado, Elago, Rhinoshield etc. I'm thinking of Mageasy or Moft.

It's crossbody and I'm going to hide it inside my winter jacket. I already have an Apple Watch for notifications etc but I need to use my phone to take photos.
Wanna attach it to my body while taking photos, so that it's not easily snatched away.

I have been to Europe a few times and so far OK but this time it is Spain which is notorious for pickpockets, snatchers etc.  Cannot cancel my trip now.

When making a payment, I try to use the Apple Watch whenever possible or a card I will keep handy.

That's why these days I prefer to travel within Asia. Asian countries are far safer than Europe. Again, Europe has its own charm, so I cannot escape it forever.

Any chance you will be or have been in Florence / Rome / Milan / Cannes? Those are my upcoming destination. Any tips will be definitely appreciated.

Yes… crossbody is a must. Even for camera gear.

My opinion since I have tried mageasy and moft.. moft is more functional as it has two separate hook points which I think it’s a better balance if force applied to it. (Aka thief snatching) and it detaches easily. Mageasy will block the charging port a little.

Also your case matters, you will need hard case. Silicon cases like spigen ultra hybrid where the bottom is a bit bendable, won’t work well. Some cases like Apple silicone case doesn’t work since no two holes.

Moft gives you two options..

One is sticks outside (don’t do this) and one is slips in your case and hooks to the two speaker grill holes.

See the pic I attached, you get better idea. Mageasy is using the same inner case but it goes via charging port hole.

I don’t use it all the time.. only during travel or hiking… I guess might be so if not used to. But I also used to have a man purse/sling bag.. or photography bag or camera strap. So it’s okay for me.

Gave up on clear case already unless of course u change case/phone in a short period of time. All the clear case used before will have some degree of yellowing over time even with the so called anti-yellowing statement imprinted.

For me, i just buy a good, reputable and military drop tested case(none clear case) and be done with it till the next phone change cycle  .
