do you guys select optimized charging or 80%?
*
I had my previous iPhone on optimised charging. Didn't change it for the 16PM. See how it goes.

You use for awhile, you'll see it'll start to pause at 80% once it finds a pattern to your charging.

hey guys, may i know where did you guys get the spigen ultra hybrid t case? can't seem to find it on shopee... and also hows the thickness, does it add a lot of bulk?
*
No bulky at all.

iPhone 16 Pro Max width
Naked: 77.6mm
UGreen Clear: 80.95mm
Apple Silicone: 81.08mm
Spigen T: 81.64mm

I can definitely feel the extra 2mm on the sides when compared to no-case but feels the same when compared with Apple Silicone Case.

For that responsiveness, I rather it is cutout. 😅

Spigen one is ok, not the Supcase.
I hope it expands to more series. Others brand also follow.
*
The only cutout case I have is the Ugreen. This one not so ok because the cutout not wide enough. What I mean is that it starts sloping too close to the CC button so it's too steep. I think when looking for cutout case, need to find something that has a wider cutout.

Any 2Meter usb C cable other than apple store 1 recommend? Thank you.
*
The longer ones I have Baseus & Essager. All works. Supposedly rated at 100W. I use to charge MacBook Air M1.

Still waiting. It is a preorder, wait stock from supplier. Bla bla. 🤡
*
Damn, sorry to hear that. I thought with the few days of restocks last week that they would have some units for Shopee orders.

Besides, did you all subscribe to iCloud bigger plan to backup ur phone or still rely on the free 5GB only and backup manually via PC (iTunes)? For ur iPhones.
*
Yup, subscribed to Apple One Premier which includes 2TB for iCloud. My family plus one uncle and one auntie using. Split the bill so not too bad.

question.. i keep need replace my tempered glass at least once a month.. any brands that is not that fragile? btw its for ip14pm...

spending almost RM1k a year just on TG
*
Wow RM1k. Applecare+ only RM899 (not including the excess.) Anyways I don't use TG. So far have dropped and cracked a screen just once, iPhone 5 iirc but fearing that my luck is running out, I bought Applecare+ for the first time this year. Previous phones didn't have that option.

Went to Digi just now.

• Got new phone.
• Want to transfer eSIM number from old phone to new phone.
• Digi Prepaid Kuning plan
• Went to Digi Store Cheras Selatan
• No more eSIM for prepaid. Only for Postpaid.
• Effective since CelcomDigi merger.
• Convert eSIM back to SIM card.
• Paid RM10 for SIM card.
• Sad

tl;dr No more eSIM for Digi Prepaid
*
Just want to share my experience with idiot Digi & eSIM for Prepaid. Postpaid fellas are a-ok.

As a continuation of the eSIM saga from above, today I went to Digi Express (dealer) in PJ State. 5 mins done. FOC some more. I topup some of my numbers there to say thank you.

Dunno what got into Digi Store Cheras Selatan. Waste my time and RM10. Later will send a strongly worded email to Digi about this.

Previously I would always advise to go Digi Store instead of Digi Express because dealer always want something, maybe a topup here or a fee there. No idea what is going on now. Maybe that Cheras Selatan Digi Store KPI not met with a few more days to end of month.

last 2 weeks from 13pm 256gb to 16p took around 3hrs +- using cable.

hopefully usb3 to usb3 should took less time than that

you and me very matched. smile.gif

For me, 15 in total. Physical banks, digital banks and ewallet.
1) Maybank - register on new phone and head to ATM to enable Secure2U
2) RHB - unregister from old phone. Activate Secure Plus at ATM
3) Grab - just login on new phone
4) Rize - just login on new phone. 12 hours cooling off period
5) GXBank - selfie verification. 12 hours cooling off period
6) TNG ewallet - selfie verification, either passkey or pin.
7) MBSB - worrying. Just think new iPhone is old iPhone.
8) SCB - need to call in customer support to get new SC mobile key temp pin.
9) Ambank - verification via ATM debit card PIN number. 12 hours cooling off period
10) Allianz bank - website to unregister, Terminate mobile access. Can’t do it since need mobile app to generate code. Duh!!
Went back old phone to terminate. Using SMS (charge money) to get code. 12 hours cooling off.
11) AEON bank - uses email to authentication. 12 hours cooling off
12) Boost Bank - best implementation, will prompt whether you dont have old device, instructions to remove from old. 12 hours cooling off.
13) Public Bank - register on new phone and head to ATM to enable PB SecureSign
14) Boost wallet - just login on new phone.
15) Hlb - worryin. Just login on new phone.

Also my tips, for Apple Pay, if you using esim, dont activate during setup. Just skip until esim is sorted out. Seems common sense, but at that setup time, brain dont comprehend it until later.
*
Very handy list. Applicable to me are MBB, SCB, GXBank, AEON & eWallets. All accurate as per list above. Just want to add:

15) HLB: Just login on new Phone but need to AppAuthorise again which uses SMS OTP.
16) Alliance Bank: Need to "Terminate Mobile Access" via website which requires ATM/Debit Card number (Can't find mine.) Alternatively call CS to terminate mobile access & login and re-activate on new phone. 12hr wait cooling off.
17) UOB: Login and SMS OTP. 12hr cooling off.
18) KWSP: Login again and SMS OTP. No mention of cooling off period.
19) myDigitalID: Tried to register again but error, need to deauthorise old ID at kiosk. Unsure if deauthorisation can be done on old phone.

I did say for me, cable to cable from ip13pm to 16pm was fast 1hr ish. Quick start transfer was 6 hours. I guess best approach is try quick start wireless if slow, switch to cable to try.
*
Anyone else can try wireless 16 to 16PM since both are Wifi 7. Should be fast.

Now we have so many speeds to test out: USB 2, USB 3 5Gbps, USB 3 10Gbps, Wifi 6 and Wifi 7.

I do summary.

eSIM Transfer on PhoneNew eSIMSIM to eSIM on Phone
(eSIM Quick Transfer)(eSIM Quick Transfer)
(1)MaxisYesYes (app)Yes
(2)Hotlink PrepaidNoNoNo
(3)Hotlink Postpaid???
(4)Digi PrepaidNoYes (shop)No
(5)Digi PostpaidNoYes (shop)?
(6)UMobileNoYes (app)?
(7)YESYesYes (app)?

(1) Maxis Postpaid
• Able to transfer but skip it during initial Quick Transfer and do it after as the eSIM transfer process needs to popup a website.
• Ensure ID and registered email are correct.
(2) Hotlink Prepaid: Used to but no longer providing eSIM for Hotlink numbers.
(3) Hotlink Postpaid: ?
(4) Digi Prepaid: No eSIM transfers. New eSIM depends on your luck. My experience only:
• Digi Store C180: No for eSIM to new eSIM because eSIM for Postpaid only. New SIM card RM10.
• Digi Express PJ State: Yes for SIM to eSIM. FOC.
• Bring MyKad.
(5) UMobile: No eSIM transfers but can buy a new eSIM QR in-app for RM10.
(6) YES: Just delete esim in setting on old phone, just download apps on new phone. Login and auto prompt pending esim installation and ready to install esim. Thanks ephunk
