Beli je secondhand cars with cash like me. All my 3 cars i bought secondhand cash. Heck even my yamaha srv, suzuki rg, suzuki belang, and kawasaki ninja all bought secondhand cash.
Yeah very interesting concept but its not suited for daily driving. Im looking for daily drive with reliability and can be repaired when it goes wrong.
I was planning to upgrade my engine to a K24 with spec of over 300hp once. But now my original engine is no longer eating engine oil, i feel sayang pulak to tinker with it. It has been very very reliable thus far. I also downgraded to a stock type R clutch for better driveability, but my ogura clutch i will keep when i did upgrade hehe.
I think I would be happy with this

yet there are still people trying to justify that they can save the downpayment as deposits as part of their financial planning, if they are given full loan.
so your financial planning includes scheming against bank?
bank's policy is simple, they do not allow full loan cos they want to see the buyer to show their initial commitment in order to consider the application.
it's those sale agent that include add-ons to mark up the loan amount so when bank approved 90% of whatever that markup amount, the final amount will be the same as the retail price of the vehicle.
in another word, it's defrauding the bank.
just to let you know banks are fully aware of the practice
have you heard any case in the newspaper bank sued sales agent over this kind of thing?
did you know that every loan officer in every branch got KPI to achieve every single month? they even need to visit car dealers to promote their service
what does it mean to you when BANKS need to visit car dealers?
