It just yr assumption that govt doctor take pension.

The truth is employment turnover is very high in hospital.
Thousands of doctor resign from their post every years.
Waiting list to meet specialist very long due to lack of specialist.
Many doctor quit their job, some even migrate to foreign country.
Doctor can do that bcoz majority not take pension. Not like PTD..
This already discuss a lot of times in parliament.

But poeple like u ignorance even there are a lot fact around u..
It not about money minded but balance of life- family & work..

True, my sister did ask some of the new comer doctor and most of them are taking EPF scheme, they treat government job as stepping stone into private sector.

Can't blame them actually when they planning their career, most of the female doctors just working several years with KKM and later on jadi locum for stable life when they are married. They can't stand with the long working hours in government and peanuts pay.

Menteri explanation & newspaper is everywhere la about this..
*
A few years before MCO, Menteri everyday preach too many health workers.
But they don't visit GH every morning 7am and see thousands of patients waiting hours for their appointment.
If there is a law that says MP/Adun & their immediate family can only seek medical treatment in gomen hospitals, failure to do so will lose their seat.
Overnight they will be clamouring for more health workers, better facilities, better working conditions & overall major improvement!

KKM seRinggit fiasco!!

duno bout the data, but my circle of doktor frens in gov, 100% amik epf. haha. mostly ladies tho. alot of talk bout low pay, yes the pay is very low. but its the same in all professional schemes like accountant, engineer, lawyer etc. severly underpaid in gov. but only doctors are getting the attention. dont forget doctors have a super fast track time based promotion compared to other skims.

probably jpa have to set the salary based on tier. complex job like doctor with highest tier salary.

Age 33-34 already can get ud54.
Age 45 already ud56 or JUSA if he/she got qualification.
*
JUSA is not based on age but based on availability of "JUSA Slot"

Once a slot is available the most senior ones gets it (of course there is the "non existence" quota stuff as well)

This is true also.

If UD54 work in office is different salary.
If work in Sarawak different salary.
If work in peninsular different salary.
If work in pusat jantung different salary.
If u are under contract, different salary.
If have cert, different salary..
a lot variable.
*
Not much difference in term of salary

there is some impacts allowance specially if you work in Borneo

Cert impacts only if you are specialist or subspecialist (doc context) but that also does not bump that high

This is UD52 (~11 years service)

Basic RM 6971
ITP RM 700
ITK RM 600
BIW RM 870
BPK RM 750

UD54 probably just add the yearly raise RM290 to the current basic salary.

Junior specialist probably add 2 more allowances (~RM2500 + RM2000)

You think worth or not staying in gomen ~11 yrs still not even rm10k

Not necessary depends which hospital you work in.

Mostly most senior Specialist will be the HOD

you can be HOD in Borneo but once you are transferred to Semenanjung you will be just a normal specialist

Lol statistic coming out of your assumption?

Got 3 sibling as dr in gomen. 4 if count with the bro in law.

All of them take pension except my youngest sis.
*
New Gen mostly take KWSP because your salary once you go private is minimum x2.5 of your government salary (inclusive of all the allowance)

may be should bring the Age & UD in to the context.

if ur UD54 but age near pencen your salary will be around 16-20k ( i think)

But if you juts naik UD54 most likely around 8-10K

GoV you serve x number of year u naik gred not exactly based on performance.

if you are performer ( kipas or actual performer) then you may naik cepat a bit bit will come to ceiling faster
