I have not set foot there in a long time. Last visit was pre-covid times.
Accommodation-wise, there are many locals there offering Airbnb - i'd say it would be better than any of the hotels there. Yes, i have stayed in Grand Kampar, and no - i will not spend to stay there again Food-wise:- *the location are tied with Google Map, and pix are in the spoilers. Goodluck, and enjoy! Morning breakie - 好運淶茶餐室 Restoran Ho Wan Lai, the "HK" chee cheong fun there is good - but i have not a clue if it still operates or otherwise » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Lunch/Tea - 金保36档小贩中心 (36 STALLS), there's a variety of food here, but i frequented Kedai Hoong Kee for their fried 'fishballs' and next to them is a stall selling good asam laksa » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Dinner - Kampar Food Centre (FoodCourt/Market), mostly come here for PORRIDGE, KUEH-MUIH and appam (idk if the old couple are still around, but if they are, the appam is crunchy goodness!) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Hope this helps too, the video is in 2019, but definitely more recent than my last trip |
