The night was jumping between perspectives in the manga. One movie for each upper moon sounds great until you think how the story should flow. Animation is going to be God Tier though

it will be more than 3 movies to end the story
3 movies for infinity castle fights against the upper ranks
1 last movie for fighting muzan (since the fight taking place outside the castle)

assuming trilogy, they will need to fit in these fights. prolly 2 UR demons in each movie? i think quite reasonable, cause if 90min movie more than enough time to show off the animation & explore backstory. muzan finale obviously full one movie lel

Mugen Train budget only 15m but Box Office earn them 500m. Thats crazy high profit there for an anime. I expected they gonna make another movie ady 1. But nvr expect them to milk that much by making into 3 part movies series. The way they setup the end of Hashira Training Arc for the Infinity Castle Arc got some Infinity War & Endgame hype for anime world.

milk... of course milk kow kow after they done a magnificent ending to hook fan's interest, especially they made Zenitsu falling so cool instead of throwing tantrum.

The trilogy they better do a good job, else everything would just go down the drain. after the infinite castle trilogy still got battle of muzan and tanjiro? more to come to milk

After the 3 movies,
Likely will release a 24 episode season 5 too.

I'd more prefer continue anime series since really dun have the time to sit down quietly there & watch few hours long movie.....my brain need to take some break....

But with their explosive animation, I hope they deliver some breathtaking fight scene again.....looking forward to it.....

mugen train arc 13 chapters were consolidated into a 2-hour movie
140 chapters onwards to 205 ending chapter were the infinity castle and muzan fights
thats 65 chapters in total
the trilogy will definitely unable to end the story, assuming each movie is 2 hours

yeah but thats cause mugen train started out slowly though? intentional to surprise viewers on Akaza at end

this part OTOH seems like if they can do all within 2hrs movie limit, they can increase the suspense alot with the pacing

They did have a movie for the swordsmith arc and hashira training too.
But it only made 50 million +.

The Covid effect and demonslayer was really at peak popularity for the mugen train movie.

For the final trilogy.
I doubt each movie will make 500 million, but it will likely surpass 250 million per movie.

the anime version is a more "appealing" version to the masses
if you read the manga the art is kinda meh and looks incomplete, also they have weird comedic elements in lots of serious scenes

really hyped me up with the final episode.
hopefully i dont die before i can get to watch all of them.
altho the ending can be read thru manga.
but episode 8 animation is really nice
