Actually there is really no reason to go there beyond mining and pride, even if the mining also not sure can be profitable or not.

Even going to Mars alrd sound so dangerous. I dont see how they can make it profitable within a generation.

We can go to Space Station no issue. Can talk about going to Mars even. But coming to 60 years since Armstrong and still no human moon landing is kinda sus.

Armstrong is not the only person that landed on Moon.

In total, 6 missions manage to land their crews on it.

If other Great Powers with more scientists in their pay doesnt dispute the US landing, then i dont think anyone has more reasons to believe otherwise.

To fairytale believer, answer this:

When can any country, company, or collaboration be able to beat 60s technologies of sending 11 Apollo programs to space and 6 moon landing successfully within 4 years gap only?

2030? 2040? 2050?

Or we need to wait several years more until A.I. CGI become flawless like the matrix?

To be fair, 60s Moon Landing is not merely tech race.

It is a mad race between 2 superpowers to expend everything including human life for only 1 thing, national pride.

Nobody will do a crew missions ever at such scale and so abruptly when there is no followup plan. You cant colonize it anyway.

Trying hard to twist yours or mine words are not going to make anyone believe in your fairytale of people landed on the moon.

When the facts is NASA has to beg Elon Musk to rescue their stranded astronauts 408 km away from Earth.

The distance of the return trip to Moon is approx 770,000 km, and they did many times within 4 years, from the year 69 to 72.

That's easily more than 4 million km combine, within 4 years gap, and now they can't even save their own people from 408 km away after many decades has passed.

The math doesn't add up.

not trying to change your opinions on the topics, but just to highlight NASA basically has no capability to fly on their own to low orbit. They depend on contractors to do it while they focus on deep space part.

It is sucks when you depends on contractors all time.
