No idea. Never needed to claim warranty. In whole life for anything. I but only reliable stuff and usually fails after warranty expires. Then I just buy new one.

weird last time wanted to change battery wented nearby car shop area said that amaron is bad and not last long

Back in 2019 I itchy hand go try a Lithium Phosfate car battery, until now battery performance still 100% when test by service center.
The battery costs RM450 tho.

Cannot bro, every battery must be tested against it's proper construction because when tested under different construction, they will produce different results. Since I don't have tester for Lithium Phosphate battery, so I minat la to find out tester apa yang dipakai. A company wanted me to buy their high end tester which had lithium ion battery test icon tetapi function tiada. Amenda la icon ada tetapi tiada function, came nak beli ? Sorry babe if high end pun tiada came low end ada ? Impossible. Kalau possible, I suspek diorang main tembak aje.

bateriku will have similar to test after pasang ..just to ensure your alternator is good (charging) and battery capacity ..but wont print out

just go to any nearby neighbourhood battery shop jer, so if any issues or need to claim warranty easier and nearer, price should not be much different

for price.. i just changed for waja.. rm240..the green battery AMARON or similar name).. warranty 15 mths, less rm20 if trade in old battery

now ayam need to go back to their workshop at B-garage by batteriku because all the car meter & tuning run. worst experience ever i had.

So I called up century for warranty claim.

They ask me to send shipping to them for testing which may takes a few weeks. then only decide is sarahan mereka or sarahan saya.

Only then they will replace the battery.

If is sarahan saya, need bear the postage + checking fees. iirc

Most likely either ktard charging system not efficient or ktard got interest in other brand or maybe masuk bateri tak ikut spek ! All my clients new cars pakai no problem but of course la their charging system I jaga betul betul.

Beware Amaron 36 months warranty is fake.

Their standard warranty is just 12 months.

U actually need to buy at higher price for that warranty, in other words its actually just paying for "extended warranty"

many many years ago.. last time i used (some time ago, lived a short life, tried again, same story).. then used recommended by workshop, ( nameless but lasted 3 years)..then another korean brand ( forgot the name).. very good ( about 5 years)..died because didn’t frequently drive especially during covid

No la. Once the battery in question has been recharged following due process and it shows that it is still a Good Battery, means nothing is wrong with the battery but the problem is the vehicle charging system not efficient, therefore not able to charge the battery properly. If battery short circuit, I don't think anyone will be brave enough to recharge it pun.

no need pening need sendiri buka battery, send to test, wait few weeks, if battery faulty Baru dapat battery Baru. if not lagi need pay for inspection fees rugi dono how much rm and last last need sendiri buy battery also back to square 1

Jew can also buy battery checker ownself check. Its around RM16 for cheapo one. More expensive electronic ones slightly higher around rm40-rm60

Anyone who bought battery directly from Century Authorized Dealers, they ought to go back to that Authorized Dealer, from whom they bought their batteries from for any warranty claims. I believe other battery brands would operate in the same manner and if it's different, definately I wouldn't know about it, unless they claim otherwise too. 😊

Since your was an online purchase, then I guess it's only logical that warranty claim procedure would be different from the above.

I also just kena this yesterday. Client tiba tiba called said battery died. I was like impossible la cause I know the battery is still in good condition when I last saw it. Drove all the way there, check and the battery is still a Good Battery. Client had to call his mechanic, who later diagnose it was a wiring that was the problem. I should start charging people for calling me unnecessarily liao. 🤣🤣🤣

Stay away from cheap astra battery, or any other elcheapo battery.

Even with regular drive, those battery can lose power and leave you stranded. Both of my cars using Astra battery after Salesman say very good, both cars already died twice, require me to call the technician come. 1 time come is RM50. If they check the battery still holds power, they will charge you. If it doesn't hold power, they will take it out and charge it. And give you spare battery, manada warranty konon give new.

End up cost more than regular battery.

For those seldom start car, better to invest in car charger or yummy Energizer one. Those cost RM400 above. My brother both cars using it, my parents car also using Energizer.

It's funny people keep asking me promote cheap batteries but I still refuse to do so because I know if I do that, then I terpaksa sibuk dengan warranty claims aje, instead of doing sales or servicing. So now I think I want to focus on clients with new vehicles aje. Stubborn clients or problematic charging systems are most troublesome to deal with and neither do they produce the best results that I am looking for.
