yes mental ray also can archieve realism as well if u know how to control.

yup, i think so since i've seen samples. is mental ray easier to handle? and how does it compare to v-ray in terms of speed and memory/cpu consumption? what are the advantages n disadvantages or mental ray?

most architecture work i've seen are done with v-ray. i have to admit i still have problem using it... see whether got any v-ray sifu here laugh.gif

Bigger resolution

This architectural rendering piece was done for an architectural firm. the purpose of this piece is for the architect to show the client how the interior would look like when its completed. The work is copyrighted under the name of the company i'm working at, ARC-Degrees Creative House. this piece was done by using 3DsMax with Vray. only minor touch-ups in photoshop like the contrast leveling. so, basically every lighting effect u see here was finalized in 3DsMax.

care to share the lighting and render settings with vray newbie like me ma? smile.gif notworthy.gif

You need quadro graphic card. The higher the better. You still need good processor. But depend on your budget. Configure your graphic card first, than processor.

Yes..why not.
BTW,I just learned how to use Hair&Fur modifier.... sweat.gif
So,I tried to learn how to style the hair using the tools...abit hard since my PC not that good to handle 150,000++ hair sampling & need to do alot of render to see the result of my styling...
