QUOTE(Core- @ Aug 21 2008, 01:33 AM) yup, i think so since i've seen samples. is mental ray easier to handle? and how does it compare to v-ray in terms of speed and memory/cpu consumption? what are the advantages n disadvantages or mental ray?most architecture work i've seen are done with v-ray. i have to admit i still have problem using it... see whether got any v-ray sifu here |

QUOTE(fansuri @ May 27 2009, 01:35 PM) Care to comment? care to share the lighting and render settings with vray newbie like me ma? ![]() Bigger resolution This architectural rendering piece was done for an architectural firm. the purpose of this piece is for the architect to show the client how the interior would look like when its completed. The work is copyrighted under the name of the company i'm working at, ARC-Degrees Creative House. this piece was done by using 3DsMax with Vray. only minor touch-ups in photoshop like the contrast leveling. so, basically every lighting effect u see here was finalized in 3DsMax. onli 1 comment - the shadow on teh ceiling supposedly caused by the fan, i think it shouldnt exist This post has been edited by Petre: May 27 2009, 04:21 PM |

QUOTE(ozak @ Jun 19 2009, 12:10 AM) You need quadro graphic card. The higher the better. You still need good processor. But depend on your budget. Configure your graphic card first, than processor. i am planning to get the i7. and some tell me CUDA enabled card is enough? like G82 8800GTS or GTX265 ?Added on June 19, 2009, 12:55 am QUOTE(fuzagi @ Jun 18 2009, 10:54 PM) bro. mind lemme see ur work? interesting siggy This post has been edited by Petre: Jun 19 2009, 12:55 AM |
