if you have the skillset or connection to good mechanic to repair then good to buy to either use or resell
all depend on luck
if the car is ok, not difficult to repair. but if the condition is NG, might even lose money to dispose it later

IF this is your first time I advise u to engage an agent who deal the lelong car process.
I did the same last year. My agent told me how to do step by step. and he charged me relatively cheap since he is my friend's father.
Get an experienced trusted mechanic to inspect the car u are targeting as well.

as for the case the car has no key, my agent used to told me he could find locksmith who could make the key & remote.

change the lock barrel if no immobilizer, or some pro locksmith can configure a new key with a key guage device. with immobilizer you can go back to SC and get the key immobilizer reprogrammed

lelong car are usually not worth it, unless you can self repair and want to flip i. most already no money to pay bank before kena tarik so usuallyno maintainence done on the car, later transmission or engine kong you headache

Just need to take note: buying lelong car = buying zero maintenance car.

Don't expect the owner has cash to maintain the car when he can't even pay the installment. For all you know, maybe the engine oil has been used for 50k or 2 years without changing, lulz.

BMW and Mercedes or other conti lelong better don't touch. From personal experience many problems such as no keys, cannot start and bonnet can't open because previous owner has dismantled and removed parts for sale (most common parts removed is Abs module.)
