quality is toshiba..usually get ur laptop in good condition no cacat here & there,

dell is the best in customer service but u might get a laptop which not that perfect but u can anytime ask for replacement of that particular part..easy they come to your home while toshiba u have to bring it to them

so go for DELL thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

yeah man... and then dell got complete cover.... replacing laptop parts are very costly and it's best to get complete cover. when the warranty is over. have some "accident" wif ur laptop and ask them to replace it. wahahaha!! rclxm9.gif

Hmm dell nowadays kinda not good quality....I got use dell and toshiba b4 and the one thing different : LCD brightness, toshiba's colour more vivid and bright but dell's seems to fall behind.

Dell parts = affordable = made in china ?

You are so lucky man, if your hdd smash your assignment will be gone, therefore must always do a couple of backup for your assignment.

LOL biggrin.gif Mine Kingston 1gb Data traveler also have similar experience. I still remember I put my thumb drive in my shirt pocket and soaked it with soap water for overnight, until the next morning I only realized my thumb drive missing and found it in the pail. I let it dry by opening the casing for 3 days plus hairdryer, guess what, I plug in to my pc and still work, all the data still inside. Lucky me. rclxms.gif

Dell parts & assembly for laptop from Penang, Malaysia.
Dell parts & assembly for desktop from China.

All their parts is total out-source supply similar to other brand company except their programmable BIOS is done by their own.
