QUOTE
Manchester United have rejected early bids for Scott McTominay amid mounting interest in the midfielder, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Galatasaray have reportedly expressed an interest in the 27-year-old but it is doubtful any Turkish club could get near Man Utd's valuation of McTominay.

The Scotland international is out of contract next year but United have the option of an additional year.

It is claimed Erik ten Hag's side regards him as an important squad member with high value.
QUOTE
Man Utd hire new goalkeeping coach
Jelle ten Rouwelaar has joined Manchester United as first-team goalkeeping coach.

The Dutchman was previously in the same role at Burnley, working under former manager Vincent Kompany, with whom he previously worked at Anderlecht.

Ten Rouwelaar has also coached for the Dutch U20s national team, and at the Eredivisie club where he spent nine years as a goalkeeper, NAC Breda.

After helping Man Utd's young goalkeepers in Monday's pre-season friendly against Rosenborg, he will then return to Carrington to begin work with the team's senior goalkeepers.

“Jelle is experienced with English football and he has some great innovations in goalkeeping, a new approach and it’s very interesting,” said Erik ten Hag.

“I’m convinced he will really help our game, as a team, but especially the keepers, as a squad, as a team, their position in the team and how they’re aligned with the rest of the team and playing as a collective.”

Clubs retain interest in Sancho

A number of clubs including Juventus and Borussia Dortmund remain keen on doing a deal for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.

It could be a situation which goes late into the window as the interested clubs are likely to need to make sales first before being able to meet United’s valuation.

Sancho is back training with the United first team after a positive meeting with manager Erik ten Hag.
QUOTE
Man Utd still working on incomings
Man Utd continue to work on deals for Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt and Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite – and they continue to wait on Leny Yoro after agreeing a €50m (£42m) deal with Lille.

Positive talks have been held with Bayern over de Ligt, while Branthwaite remains a strong option despite Everton now being under no pressure to sell.

Another name is Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah. Sky Sports Newshas been told United have made a check on his situation.

Talks are at an advanced stage for Tah’s proposed move to Bayern Munich – but nothing has been finalised yet.

Talks remain open with Paris Saint Germain over Manuel Ugarte. He’s one of a number of midfielders United are looking at.

United expecting Saudi clubs to formalise strong interest in Casemiro.

Another area to keep an eye on is right-back – and will be dependent on what happens with Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

He’s into the final year of his contract and is the subject of interest from a number of clubs including West Ham United.
QUOTE
Lazio make Greenwood offer
Lazio have confirmed they’ve made an offer worth €25m (£21m) plus add-ons to Manchester United for striker Mason Greenwood.

There is also a 50 per cent sell-on clause for United.

Marseille have already agreed a deal worth €31.6m (£26.6m) including add-ons and significant sell-on – and we are told the structure of that deal is better than Lazio’s.
QUOTE
Man Utd edging in front of Real Madrid in Yoro chase
Leny Yoro is in talks with Manchester United, who may have moved in front of Real Madrid in the race for the Lille defender, according to France-based journalist Nabil Djellit.

United have had a €62m (£50.4m) offer accepted for the 18-year-old, who was understood to favour a move to Madrid.

However, Djellit - who originally broke the news of United's move for the France U21 international - reports the chances of Yoro moving to Old Trafford are increasing.
