Manchester United have rejected early bids for Scott McTominay amid mounting interest in the midfielder, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Galatasaray have reportedly expressed an interest in the 27-year-old but it is doubtful any Turkish club could get near Man Utd's valuation of McTominay.

The Scotland international is out of contract next year but United have the option of an additional year.

It is claimed Erik ten Hag's side regards him as an important squad member with high value.

Jelle ten Rouwelaar has joined Manchester United as first-team goalkeeping coach.

The Dutchman was previously in the same role at Burnley, working under former manager Vincent Kompany, with whom he previously worked at Anderlecht.

Ten Rouwelaar has also coached for the Dutch U20s national team, and at the Eredivisie club where he spent nine years as a goalkeeper, NAC Breda.

After helping Man Utd's young goalkeepers in Monday's pre-season friendly against Rosenborg, he will then return to Carrington to begin work with the team's senior goalkeepers.

“Jelle is experienced with English football and he has some great innovations in goalkeeping, a new approach and it’s very interesting,” said Erik ten Hag.

“I’m convinced he will really help our game, as a team, but especially the keepers, as a squad, as a team, their position in the team and how they’re aligned with the rest of the team and playing as a collective.”

A number of clubs including Juventus and Borussia Dortmund remain keen on doing a deal for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.

It could be a situation which goes late into the window as the interested clubs are likely to need to make sales first before being able to meet United’s valuation.

Sancho is back training with the United first team after a positive meeting with manager Erik ten Hag.

Lazio have confirmed they’ve made an offer worth €25m (£21m) plus add-ons to Manchester United for striker Mason Greenwood.

There is also a 50 per cent sell-on clause for United.

Marseille have already agreed a deal worth €31.6m (£26.6m) including add-ons and significant sell-on – and we are told the structure of that deal is better than Lazio’s.
