I think highlights of our season would be this kind of “stats”. It’s absolutely useless if we play like 💩 collectively.

for me you cant keep playing the same players that dont show up and hope for that one miracle... not feeling like dejavu meh? keep starting rashford who didnt perform for so long.. even his high scoring season he is also invisible most of the game and casemiro criticism started last season already where he is liability defensively. if eth keeps this play and lineup he is gonna be gone before november like it or not.

3 games into the season and played similar. midfield no presence... we still like gk that cant do shot stop but he can pass in front of own goals.

ETH using the same midfield combo and Liverpool keep pressing the midfield duo (casemiro and mainoo) with 3-4 players, the first 2 goals coming from the mistake of Casemiro, lost the possession and transition attack by Liverpool, both of fullback unable to chase back and leaving 2 CB to defend.

ETH should tweak the formation by 10-15 mins mark and ask Bruno/Zirkzee to drop back and receive ball from Casemiro/Mainoo. The whole problem was the midfield duo unable to cope with Liverpool high press until lose possession several times.

His pace is able to defend Liverpool players, which Casemiro has problem keeping up pace with, i saw Casemiro macam ada tummy

Rashford attack cannot pakai, the only improvement i saw is he track back and help out Dalot.

casemiro and sancho both got tummy... before that casemiro mispass for 2nd goal.. we are inviting the lfc players to jam our mid already. onana keep do the pass with casemiro. our own half always 2 vs 4 situation. few times we got lucky. but vs lfc, they no need many chances

I agree with this view. Basically, ETH's downfall will be his stubbornness in dropping underperforming players, especially Rashford or Bruno. I also don't think other managers would perform better than ETH.

Same problems like last season, can't score for nuts. Back 4 for me was good last night. mid was meh and attacking was non existent. Link up play was broken so many times from mid to attack. More like playing american football than the real football. i like to see attacking players coming back to help defence, but to go so low until there is no one else up front is just bad play. Rashford needs to sit on the bench or play as the sole striker. He's not working on the left.
