Hi All,
Anyone know what is the battery spec/requirement for Fotile gas hob GCG90201?
And kindly pls recommend any battery that can work with this gas hob.
Thanks
I had checked the use manual and it just show suggested D Alkaline battery only.
I had tried with EVEREADY D size battery but the electro spark always 1 tick only and cannot ignite the gas.
I then changed to ENERGIZER D size Alkaline battery but the electron spark is always few ticks on 1st time and 1 tick for subsequent time.
The D size battery that came with the gas hob is called RAYMAX (which I can't find it here) and the electron spark is always keep on ticking until you release the knob.
But I feel like it is weaker now and that's why looking for the replacement for it.
After I tried with the EVEREADY and ENERGIZER battery and changed back to this RAYMAX batter, the electron spark is keep on ticking till knob is release.
This looks more like a battery issue to me.
You may check and clean the oxidation / debris at the battery and hob battery connector first. try to reseat / adjust pusing2 sikit the battery Anyone know what is the battery spec/requirement for Fotile gas hob GCG90201?

I'm not an expert but normally nothing to do with battery brands. as long same spec as per the original battery.
