The NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) 8800 GT has the perfect combination of power, performance, and price. It offers 112 stream processors, and a 256-bit frame buffer for jealousy-inducing DirectX 10 gameplay at ultra fast frame rates. Packed with more features for the priceWith 112 stream processors and a 256-bit framebuffer interface running at 900MHz, GeForce 8800 GT delivers a level of price/performance that gamers demand. Support for next generation PC platformsCompatible with the new PCI Express 2.0 bus architecture, offering a future-proofing bridge to tomorrow's most bandwidth-hungry games and 3D applications. Here we have our official overclocking discussions ranging from minor heat issue to major hard mods. It's all here, have your say and good luck in venturing into high clocks for either gaming or 3DMarks.... Drivers:Utility:3DMarks:BIOS: Core/Shader/MemoryVoltage Mods:Addendum: QUOTE - stock vGPU voltages for this card are 1.05v (2D idle) and 1.10v (3D load) - stock vMEM voltage for Qimonda GDDR3 (HYB18H512321BF-10) is 1.80v ±5% - 1kΩ (or higher) variable resistor can be used for the vGPU mod in order to maintain the minimum voltage close to stock. A 500Ω VR will force the vGPU slightly higher than stock vGPU even when the VR is tuned for the lowest vGPU = maximum resistance. - vGPU pencil mod turned out to be virtually impossible - usage of a multimeter is strongly recommended Diagram: (Image courtesy XS)
