If get these managers might as well stick with Slot. I used to back Alonso before he went to RM. But seeing how things are unfolding now, can he manage Liverpool?

+1 on the managers available issue. This also 1 of the reason why I think we should give slot more time.

As for xabi, I think he can manage lfc. Our players ego not as high as madrid players. In fact most players are quite humble, except maybe salah? But since xabi is a legendary player, maybe he can get more respect from salah. Xabi aura is stronger than slot too.

salah ego probably only half of vinicius jr or mbappe, slot will get eaten alive at rm. i only have one concern on alonso, his way seem to put more stress on players and more stress means more injuries. wirtz will probably shine under alonso.

One "problem" out of the way - not having to fit Salah in the team, one less distraction for the rest of the team.

If Slot can fix the "Gapko cutting in and shoot" problem, another tactical headache solved - more width and crosses from the left. The right side without Salah already providing width and doing crosses - Bradley and Gomez.

Then it is all ahead building a team around Wirtz and the next gen of players (e.g. Kerkez, Bradley, Frimpong, Jones, Rio, Grav, Maca, Ekitike), with Szobolai as the next Captain... If the plan is to keep Slot and accept transition year.

If there is no belief in Slot (his tactics and man management), get a 6-months interim manager to stabilise the team (e.g., Gerrard like Solskjaer in ManU). A long-term replacement will have to wait until after WC2026.

The search for new manager should be ongoing still when its so hard for board terminate his contract. Problem is i dont know how much contract left do this Dutch Manager had on agreements with club. As i prefer him to stay with clubs till end of 25/26 season. I know people would be angry on his performance with team but thats all I think the best way given him that much time. Gerrard or Xabi Alonso the best candidate for a new manager being unveiled next season
