drop Salah but still can't beat a lesser team. How did last season top scorer and assist suddenly became ineffective.

It's evident Slot's system does not work. Benching Salah and starting Gakpo is another daft move, when Gakpo is equally inefficient, not to mention Konate that's been making a blunder every game.

Benching a player is equivalent to blaming him no able to play to the system that the manager try to fit in, a capable manager will fit his system to play to the players strength, same as buying Isak and isolate him upfront

say already...last season klopp team etc etc...transition this season etc etc...
but looking back...this is in no way a transition... instead of gradual it's a forced makeover...
i don't put any blame on Gakpo... rather is Slot and his insistence on trying to fit Wirtz in...cos to do that ideally the formation should be either 433 or a diamond...not some rubbish 4231 with guys out of position...
meaning one of szobo / gravenberch / macca needs to be dropped...and / or play endo in the sole holding role... not jones...
in short...Slot needs to dig out his Klopp 101 from last season...

Actually, Szoboslai has said in an interview his preferred role is deeper. He may prefer a role similar to Xabi Alonso and Rodri. Central, more defensive, and able to see the game better, control the flow.

If Slot wants to copy Pep Guardiola, he could try to replicate Rodri / KDB combination with Szoboslai / Wirtz.

But that assumes Slot actually plays a number 8 in his setup, which doesn't seem like it since the entire midfield tends to camp at the opposing box when in possession.

There are only 3 outcomes in a game. Win, Draw, Loose. If don't concede, its either Win (1-0) or Draw (0-0). If you're constantly conceding it can be Win, Draw or Loose. Early in the season, Liverpool concede but still win. Now its concede and draw or loose.

So the logical response is to stop conceding. How? Either play defensively, or change personnel. Slot says he doesn't have backups to replace Konate or VVD. No choice have to play both. So the logical way to stabilise the situation - do not concede - is to have other players help out defensively.

Yet Slot refuse to change. Change can be not pressing so high, go back to Klopp 4-3-3 which the core team is familiar with, play a "different" more stable 4-4-2, etc. So many ways to stabilise the situation.

This guy really getting out of control and not professional at all. Publicly criticizing the whole club and say the club didn't protect him. What bs is this? So sad to see 1 of the greatest lfc legend behaving like this.

To anyone who thinks Slot does not have favourites: please explain the Chiesa situation.

I stand by my opinion that Salah is wrong to voice his dissatisfaction publicly. But definitely Slot is not helping things with his selections and substitutions. His press con is also getting weirder. I don't know how he is managing the dressing room. I watched clips of Ox on Ben Foster's podcast and it was truly enlightening how Klopp managed to make so many star players click and gel together.

I gave Slot 10 league games a while back to prove that he can fix this. I think now 4 games have passed, and I am not convinced. He looks exactly like Brendan Rodgers' last season with us.

This season is already a write off. The only hope I have is MU don't get top 4, and Arsenal don't win the league.

He is quality player but i also think his ego on high side.

Really miss the humble type player like Firmino. One of the few players that always think team & teammates 1st before himself.

A bit wasted for him actually. He can easily be among the greatest lfc legend if not for his selfish attitude like this. No doubt slot has selection issues like keep starting clowns like gakpo and konate, but i think salah should handle this better by keeping this internally. For me, its totally ok if we explode to slot or lfc management team on this issue internally instead of public outburst like this.

This is not necessary at all. It gives media, haters, pundits to bullet to unstabilize lfc more, at a period where stability is the most important. So obvious he just think of himself instead of thinking the whole big picture and on lfc behalf.

Just look at previous legends which have issue with coach/management like torres, alonso. U dont see them doing this kind of shits. They will just submit transfer request and leave and only open up this issue many years later.
