As usual, all fingers are pointed to Trent when the management actually had 2 yrs to resolve his contract saga but decided to leave it late, banking everything on his “Scouse and boyhood club” sentiments.

Cant remember anyone signing contract in april to leave in June.

The one that came to my mind is Suarez (signed Dec 2013), left summer 2014.

Coutinho (signed Jan 2017), left Jan 2018.

Richard Hughes is a total failure so far. at least Schmadtke managed to brought in 4 new midfielders last season as a replacement and all of them are doing great. This season should be the right time to bring in another replacement for ageing players but we only signed a winger who doesn't play and a GK who we don't need. Even let our best academy graduate leaves for free.

Chillz la guys, already happen, just let it happen. Good lesson to the board that dont take things for granted. While many blame taa for this, for me, 90% of the fault is the board's fault for not renewing it earlier.

Next is to see if our board take this lesson and learn from it next season with konate, as he is entering final year too. If board didnt learn, then next year he gonna do a taa

FSG did manage to get us trophies. I believe letting TAA go is well calculated by them, the risks n rewards etc. they own a few sports club and surely they hv their own set the principles to handling of clubs. We dont hv the dumb oil money, so, they hv to work within their own limitations.

Just look at our rivals, except for Man C, how their owners manage their club? better than liverpool?

lets not forget FSG bought LFC from the 2 clowns way back in 2010/11...and no real trophies appeared until 2018 onwards...

and if we have limitations...then why would we let go a potential 100m for free?

SC is also priority since Nunez is misfiring & Jota is glasses
RB although TAA left I still think Bradley is good enough to hold tat position & backup by joe gomez or jarrell quansah

That's all for me...not being greedy by having a new LB + SC is enough because we all know Liverpool always not going to spend big & much even though winning something....But those club that finish 2nd or 17th still can spend more than us.....lol

Question now is we duno know how much transfer kitty we have. Considering we bid caicedo for 110m 2 years ago and only spend 40m last year, I hope we will have min 120m this year. And with sales of fringe players, hopefully can pump up to 180-200m total.

This should help us get 3-4 top class players. But if the board decide to stinge, then got nothing to say. Just can hope for the best. But this squad really need major overhaul already.
