On 27th March 2024, Anwar said he will be checking with the Treasury following allegations that his ex-aide suddenly become chairman of three public listed companies and also taking majority stakes in two other listed companies which were on the verge of getting large government contracts.

But two months later, there has been no reply from PMX.

Is he still checking? Or is the treasury under MOF (which is PMX too) very slow to answer PMX?

Anwar to check Farhash allegations with Treasury

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will check with the Treasury on the allegations against businessman Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak in connection with the purchase of shares in a company shortlisted for a RM1bil government contract.

Anwar said he would only issue a statement after getting further information regarding the matter.

"I will check with the Treasury and release a statement,” he told reporters after attending the Iftar ceremony at Masjid Ashabus Solihin, Taman Rakan here on Wednesday (March 27).

So where is the statement from PMX why this young fellow who was also Perak PKR head and Anwar's special officer suddenly decided to quit politics to become so successful in the corporate world immediately after Anwar become PM?

Among others... who can explain why Vincent Tan's son, Robin Tan would voluntarily resign and give his chairman position to Anwar's loyalist the young ciku less than 2 months after Anwar becomes PM?

Anwar loyalist made chairman of 7-Eleven
Farhash Wafa Salvador replaces Vincent Tan's son, Robin Tan Yeong Ching.

It's hard to answer this just like Cowgate, whatever Sharizat wanna talk no one will listen, coz without her political position and influence,no way the husband will get that kind of loans or project. Until court tell the true story of it years later, then people stop talking.

I think there are plenty of projects that not related to gov … to be a politician husband to tender or direct award gov project already a red flag even if they got songlap or no songlap, good job or not a good job story aside …

Politicians close family members shall not be allowed to get any form of gov projects … i thought this is the policy …

If a company relies on gov project to survive then high chance is some low quality useless company

Nope. Actually the latest court decision in Oct 2023 is that govt was at fault and said no misuse of money.

"Justice Anand Ponnudurai ruled there was no wrongful use of the RM250mil loan sum and no breach of fiduciary duties by the 11 defendants

The court also found that the Federal Government had breached the Implementation Agreement (IA) when the plaintiff failed to construct the Export Quality Abattoir (EQA) and breached the Loan Facility Agreement (LFA) by unlawfully terminating it.

Justice Anand pointed out that it was not unlawful for NFCorp to utilise part of the loan sum to invest in properties in the name of the company and the company did not breach the loan agreement and IA.

The court ruled that the project’s targets were not met due to the government’s failure to build the EQA..

The court also allowed NFCorp’s counterclaim against the government for breach of agreement and allowed for nominal damages of RM10,000.

Both the govt and NFC are not appealing that decision.

Shut up. DAP minister's husband means he's damn capable. No need open tender. I think should just double the contract.

you know like in a contest T&C, close family members of the sponsor company's employees are not allowed to participate. this is basic level principle that DAP failed to adhere.

Et tu, Hannah?

DAP have to put themselves at higher standard. I guess after you're in gov, those standard can be chuck in dustbin.

Isnt it common knowledge if your are related to ppl with gomen with hihh power u are not allowed to bid as its a huge conflict of interest??

Common sense is no longer applicable once you are in the government. Only what you say, is considered the law of the land.

Any witch hunt demanding for Hannah to step down? Or any outcry of the blatant ignoring of transparency and outburst of wrongdoing in partaking in the opaque practice of direct negotiation ?

Nowadays, you just get silence when such high standards and moral codes are violated.

If a junior leader like Hannah does it, what about others?

This morning just saw her having breakfast.

Didn't realised she already got 3 boys.

They were just having breakfast in a kopitiam near IOI City Mall with 2 Indo maid.

I noticed she's carrying a Prada bag but I think her husband is rich enough.

Saw they left in a Bentley.
