8S is still slightly weaker than 8G2 actually. especially on GPU is cut half from 8G2/8G3

Each brand should has its own migration program. Follow the program of new one you just bought and also install the same one on own phone.

But for me better use either Google cloud or Samsung cloud to restore from backup

Xiaomi own migration program (mi cloud backup/mi mover) never try so cannot comment

No, if you debloat some preinstall apps it will persist over updates. You don't have redo that

Unless you debloat one or two that you shouldn't even debloat like "security" which may cause bootloop

You can restore these debloated app by factory reset or manually install them back

Yeah. Basically most of redmi/Poco models may get slightly less frequent updates usually. But Google also mandate about update frequency to be certified as AER (enterprise recommended) so on the safer side every 90 days or so (3 months) at most

yeah, but battery is little bit smaller. Ultra label is also normal for the one with 8 elite

the regular F7 will coming on May with a different form factor and new unannounced processor

Eu countries got new regulations in place that prohibited forced bundling of charger. Need give choice whether need charger or not. However can either get free charger as preorder bonus or can ask for that for free from Xiaomi official shop website


Xiaomi doesn't imposed this in Malaysia just yet afaik

That's one thing stupid they doing at Poco, somehow the top of the line got something short of their lower models.

Previously was F6 Pro no IP68 but F6 got..

Neither of F6 / F6 pro got proper water resistant

This time F7 ultra 5.3k mah battery F7 Pro got 6k mah battery.
F7 ultra with 120w fast charger, F7 pro with 90w fast charger. Usually for Xiaomi they will have either extra big battery or extra fast charger but not both

Warning for those order at Lazada during launch date, you may not able to get free wireless charger due to technical issues ( if you chat with Poco store official)

Some of very early orders today received without wireless charger and Poco will say give only voucher as compensation

Yes I ordered 512 black last Thursday evening just after launched and able to get 700+ savings from msrp

Edit:
Sempat order with wireless charger 50w but it's new old stock at most (mfg date 2022). But it's useable (I never take 120w adapter out of box just yet because I use 67w brick from F5 to use with wireless charging)
