anyone aim for F6 or F6 pro?

8sgen3 is like 8gen2 performance but more save battery for daily usage apps

so you will go for F6 (8sgen3) instead of F6 pro(8gen2)?

i already using iqoo neo9 (8gen2) so not going to get poco this time , but it's worth to go for it if the price cantik

8S is still slightly weaker than 8G2 actually. especially on GPU is cut half from 8G2/8G3

so i still prefer to have 8G2

Dont expect F6 Pro price below rm2k..just saying.

depend on your usage , for ppl using more on daily apps then 8sgen3 will be better in battery life

for gaming 8gen2 win a little bit but not too much

conclusion , 8gen2 if u are really a pure gaming , for daily usage and u want better battery consumption then 8sgen3

Each brand should has its own migration program. Follow the program of new one you just bought and also install the same one on own phone.

But for me better use either Google cloud or Samsung cloud to restore from backup

Xiaomi own migration program (mi cloud backup/mi mover) never try so cannot comment

I think it was pricing error. I bought x6 pro 12/512 for RM1080.

F6 also don't have 3.5mm jack. Big disadvantage compared to X6.

Just got my F6 yesterday. Upgraded from F3.

So far, this phone is fast and its weight feels just nice. Overall, it is a better phone as compared to F3.

My favourite part is that I love the 2 large camera lenses at the back.. Looks just like Minion.. 😆

Honor's camera are better than F6 non-pro.

No, if you debloat some preinstall apps it will persist over updates. You don't have redo that

Unless you debloat one or two that you shouldn't even debloat like "security" which may cause bootloop

You can restore these debloated app by factory reset or manually install them back

Does the poco f6 msia version have the (auto) phone call recorder function ? For redmi only certain region from has this feature .

I think for Malaysia it's disabled.

Black. Battery usage is good not sure why reviewers say it's bad.

Do you set your screen refresh rate to 120hz? Because by default it may set to a lower value.

My setting is at the default option, which is adaptive refresh rate I believe. UI animations, AI enhancements/features all turned off, debloated, battery saver mode at night, plus some Google settings like scanning etc.

Example should expect Jan 2025 security update. But for lower or mid tier Xiaomi probably will only get Jan 2025 security update 1-2 quarters later if lucky.

That's the thing. With Xiaomi/Poco, they wont do anything for few months then one shot give you update for security update, and then is few months old some more. OS, lucky to get 1 new update, at most 2 OS updates.

Yeah. Basically most of redmi/Poco models may get slightly less frequent updates usually. But Google also mandate about update frequency to be certified as AER (enterprise recommended) so on the safer side every 90 days or so (3 months) at most
