I went for viewing for a terrace house & few weeks later I told the agent that I intend to proceed & buy.
He said ok & a day later call me & tell me to wait for a while.

Now it's almost two weeks since then & still no update.
I texted him but he didn't offer much explanation.

What could be going on here?
I'm fine if the house is sold but I saw the ads still being run, by other agent as well.

Any possible issue with the house?

Agreed with the comment above. He is depending on your for his commission. If he is not responding, find another agent who will.

He's playing 2 sides, I am sure waiting for another buyer confirmation with higher purchase @commision.or.making some deals with the owner. Your agent is a bad one.

Go find other agent and close the deal ASAP if your very interested to buy the property.

Worst type of agent who cannot give you clear cut reply. Forget about this agent and find a better one.
