4 5 6 May ...You won't get any Ticket to Osaka. By Flight By train by Bus....No Way.

Forget about it......I suggest you May 4 - 7 stay in Tokyo 8 - 13 go Osaka.

There is no way to you hopping City to other City in May 4 5 6.  Flight Ticket will be Fully Booked ..if got Ticket you also need to buy 1st Class which cost you Rm1500 around from Tokyo to Osaka per Way. Shinkansen also ...if got seat also need to buy 1st class [Green Class] Cost you 13,240 Yen Per way.

Do noted: JR Rail Pass doesn't included Seat Reservation...even you got JR rail Pass doesn't mean you can successful board into Train if the Train is fully sold out ticket.

Another Way was May 4 Night Train to Osaka by Sunrise Izumo and May 5 morning arrive Osaka Then May 7 Night train back to Tokyo and May 8 morning arrive.  It will cost you 15,000 Yen Per Way or Free if you got JR rail Pass.

Bus?  If you can stand the traffic Jam more than 10 Hour...then please Proceed .

If no ticket to Osaka by Shinkanshen how?  better do your Plan B.

Because May4 5 6 are the Last 3 day of Golden Holiday.....all japanese Balik Home for tml works......same as Malaysia after CNY and Hari Raya ...Last 3 Day almost imposible to get anything.  Got money also no ticket.

Hope you can arrive Osaka by Morning....worst to worst when you wake up in morning and you still jam in highway.

Yes ...For Apply Japan Visa you need to show them Your Bank Statement......Bank Statement must be original Copy with Saving RM6,000 Above or GTFO by them.  RM5,999 also GTFO.

Most important is Saving account....If your Saving account money no enough RM6k...but you got the Tabung Haji or Amanah Saham to back you up.....Saving Account + Tabung // ASB = Must over RM6k or GTFO.
IF Saving account alone already more than RM6k then you no need show them ASB or Tabung Haji.

So you get the Visa already?    BTW...Even without Balance...By see your Bank account trans section also can see your Money roughly how much......If your Bank account only 2-3K sure GTFO.    Like now got 2k later on take 500 out again then later take 500 out again....then put back in 800.....If the Trans section is like this kind sure GTFO.

It's difficult to find money changers in Tokyo and the rate in KL is very close to market rate. So no point changing to US$ 1st..furthermore, the Money changer rate in Haneda airport really teruk!

dont ever think about changing in Japan. i change USD to Yen in OSAKA and the rates are so highhh.
it is even cheaper for you to change USD to Ringgit and then Ringgit to Yen in Malaysia.

Just to share my situation

in Malaysia: i need RM37.03 to get 1000yen
in Osaka: i need RM42-RM44 to get 1000yen.

Using your own smartphone wifi-lah and connecting to your hotel wifi can already.. I sued whatapp & skype to call back M'sia using the hotel wifi lor..no need renting this & that

No point to get Wifi receiver in Japan...Because japan wifi spot = Zero  ...and all Wifi need pay...no free wifi in Japan.

If want go online ...better rent Data roaming stuff like our Malaysia 4G USB stuff....best way rent a Phone or tablets with 4G inside.

what operator are you using? i know that maxis got (relatively) decent data roaming prices for a few countries, but not sure if Japan is one of them. For me when I went Japan, I used my SingTel $15/day unlimited data roaming, I think it was damn useful cos noneed to pay internet at hotel, go anywhere wanna change plans can google for directions, etc.

Just check those wth WIFI. The hotel that I stayed also having LAN line to the room bcos WIFI only available ~ lobby area. From my past travel experiences, you will not use internet so often except after the end of the day. So just go down to the hotel lobby or the best.. asking room just within the lobby area
